Meta Materials.
Meta dielectrics are created using effective medium principles to control the relative permittivity of materials. This is achieved by controlling the relative density using conventional powder processing techniques as well as unconventional method of Micro Fabrication by Co-eXtrusion (MFCX). These new materials are useful for realizing textured dielectric devices that possess spatial variations in dielectric properties within a monolithic body. Current applications include electro-magnetic filters, resonators, and antenna substrates.
