Creep Resistant YAG Oxide Fibers

Materials: Nanomaterials Ceramics
Application: Nanotechnology Structural
Technique: Synthesis Processing Characterization

Mixtures of yttrium acetate hydrate and aluminum formate hydrate were dissolved in water with ethylene glycol and other organic agents as fiber precursors. Using this metalloorganic precursor, green fiber can be formed by high pressure extrusion and drawing.
