Research Interests:

Research interests include the microstructural and microchemical analysis of materials by analytical electron microscopy. Recent new interest in environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) and development of in-situ experimental "modules" for the ESEM. Current research focuses on development of convergent beam electron diffraction and x-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy techniques, diffraction pattern simulation, and image and diffraction pattern processing.
