Biography
Xiang is responsible for the operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of the X-ray tools in the Hanawalt Lab. She designs testing methods tailored to students’ specific research needs and sample types. She provides training in 18 XRD characterization techniques for powder, metal, alloy, ceramic, and thin-film samples. She also teaches and guides students in using professional software to analyze XRD data. All users must complete training and obtain her approval before operating the equipment independently.
