Project: Flexible Photovoltaic Cells Based on Conjugated Polymers and Nanomaterials

The current study is involved in the fabrication of self-organized composites of block copolymers and nano-semiconductors to build hetero-junction solar cells.  The block copolymers are comprised of poly(alkyl thiophene) blocks with low polydispersity and high regioregularity as energy harvesting materials as well as hole-transporting materials and poly(vinylpyridine) blocks as anchoring materials to electron-transporting inorganic nano-semiconductors.
