These effects include radiation induced segregation, swelling, metastable phase formation, and order-disorder phenomena. My main focus lies on the influence of radiation on intergranular stress-corrosion cracking in austenitic and nickel-base alloys in supercritical water. My research also investigates the effects of grain boundary engineering on prevention of stress-corrosion cracking. |
